Perma-Column

Installation

  1. Auger the holes. A laser level on the auger head keeps hole depth consistent.
  2. Place the same footing you would use under a wood column.
  3. Set the Perma-Column and backfill.
  4. Bolt the wood column into the bracket and frame as usual.

Splash boards fasten to the concrete with split-drive anchors in a 3/16 inch predrilled hole.

Common Questions

Do you offer builder pricing? Contact us with your expected volume and we will quote it.

Can I use it for repair jobs? Yes. Rotted posts can be cut off and set on new columns one after another, with no wait for concrete between posts.

What about slab and stem wall jobs? We carry Sturdi-Wall® brackets in drill-set and wet-set models.

What about high-moisture buildings? Place a barrier between the treated wood and the bracket and use stainless steel fasteners.
